This week Sweden's national football team is staying at Scandic Park, so the player's manager Marcus Allbäck is the first to try checking out by mobile. "It's so easy. When I stay at a hotel I want to spend my time on other things, like enjoying a leisurely breakfast, so having this option is perfect", says Marcus Allbäck.
Offering unparalleled convenience, guests can now enjoy a seamless check-out experience with just a few simple clicks on their mobile phone. By effortlessly accessing their bill, guests can swiftly review and settle their charges, while receiving an electronic receipt directly to their inbox. As the final step, guests can conveniently drop their keycard in a designated box at the reception desk.
"This is an important tool for improved convenience, making stays easier for our guests. Many people are familiar with similar solutions in other contexts, such as banking and airports. It feels only natural that we should offer the same facility at our hotels. We believe guests will appreciate being able to check out on their smartphone instead of standing in a queue in the morning", comments Olle Söder, project manager at Scandic.
