What's new in Allegro Cloud v7.17.0

We are proud to announce the release of Allegro Cloud v7.17.0 This is our first major release in 2024 and includes several changes to make our product easier to deploy, manage, and use. Take a look at some of the exciting new functionality included in the release.

For hotels using key lock codes, a new component has been added for the "lost key" flow. When enabled, the guest can go to the kiosk, and after searching for his reservation, the code is displayed on the screen.

A new feature has been added to the Welcomer Dashboard - the ability to scan passport and ID information using the built-in camera (on tablet devices). The functionality is provided by an external provider of ID recognition services.

In the arrival document sent to the guest when he completed his check-in at the kiosk, it is now possible to display the floor number in addition to the room number.

To facilitate the deployment of our product and constantly improve it, and make it more intuitive to use for our customers, here are some of the "behind the scenes" features we are deploying in Allegro 7.17.0:

A new downloadable report section has been added to the statistics section (previously available from the dashboard section) of the back office. These different new buttons allow the user to download a standardized Excel file based on the different usage of online scenario or kiosk.

The report will have the same date range (from - to) as the filter above.

A new report called "Daily usage report" has also been added. This is an overview of the total number of actions (check-in, arrivals, key-pickup++) per day.

 In the kiosk fleet section of the back office, a new button has also been added to download the alert history.

When clicking on the button, it will open a date picker for the user to select the period he wants for the alert reports. Once validated, it will download a standardized Excel file containing all alerts recorded.
