What's new in Allegro Cloud v7.18.0

We are proud to announce the release of Allegro Cloud v7.18.0 This is our second major release in 2024 and includes several changes to make our product easier to deploy, manage, and use. Take a look at some of the exciting new functionality included in the release.

> Vue 3 Migration

We have migrated to the Vue 3 JS framework to enhance performance and user experience. This is a major framework update - please contact our support team if you experience unexpected errors in the user interface for kiosk, online or the backoffice.

New options have been added to the skin designer to manage the screen saver text font size and alignment.

The kiosk scenario has also been updated to adapt the font size and alignment.

To facilitate the deployment of our product and constantly improve it, and make it more intuitive to use for our customers, here are some of the "behind the scenes" features we are deploying in Allegro 7.18.0:

The room assignment logic, previously only used for the queuing system, is now available for direct room assignment. It means that the room assignment logic now works for guests checking in at kiosk or via BYOD, and not only when the reservation is sent to our queue.

A new "checked out" status has been added to the dashboard for better understanding of the check-out statuses of reservations.

The package upsell configuration in the backoffice has been updated with new available pre-defined images.

The new images are available in different library, each representing a specific style.

More libraries will be available in the future.
