We are proud to announce the release of Allegro Cloud v7.16.0 This is our fifth major release in 2023 and includes several changes to make our product easier to deploy, manage, and use. Take a look at some of the exciting new functionality included in the release.
The statuses "Cancelled" and "Checked Out" have been added to the Welcomer Dashboard on the reservation status.
When selecting specific filters on the Welcomer Dashboard, they are now saved and remain the same for the next session.

A new alert has been added to the different alerts of the Back office: NO_NEW_RESERVATIONS_SINCE code.
This new alert is triggered when our system does not receive any new reservation during 24h that may indicate an issue.
Why is this feature important or special? Even if there are no critical issues detected on the kiosk, this doesn't mean something outside of Ariane's system cannot go wrong. PMS error, Hotel error... etc. If the system can detect the absence of reservation by itself, it is a preventive way to address the issue as quickly as possible and find the potential cause by contacting support. |

The different user roles in the user management module of the back office have been updated with a simpler system of 3 levels that represent roles in the Hotel
Level 1: hotel user
Level 2: hotel manager
Level 3: hotel manager +

> Search Reservations
The search reservation logic has been updated. When searching for a reservation by full name on the kiosk, if the system returns multiple results, it is now possible to look for the reservation with the external reference number as a secondary search criterion, directly in the PMS, if the email filter is not enabled.
The email filter is another secondary search criteria which allows to exclude reservations that include emails from a restricted domain name list, or no email at all.

A small change has been added to the CheckinDone, KioskCheckinDone, and RoomIsReady emails for better user understanding.
The "check in from..." hour indication is removed because guests receiving this email are already in the hotel. It is replaced with "check out before..." and the check-out start time as an information regarding check out.

To facilitate the deployment of our product and constantly improve it, and make it more intuitive to use for our customers, here are some of the "behind the scenes" features we are deploying in Allegro 7.16.0:
On the reservation details in the backoffice dashboard, the ineligibility reasons are now chronologically stored and accessible.
Why is this feature important or special? This is a very useful feature to add details and context when looking at the global usage, trying to understand any blocking point during the eligibility process of the hotel, or to track down the details of a specific reservation. |

The last PMS update time shown in Dashboard is now translated from UTC to Hotel Time for all reservation ingestion methods, except Opera Pull.

The "Room Type" field has been added in Common Area setup in the back office, which allows a multi-value input. This new field allows to configure specific accesses into the hotel dependant on the assigned room type (this access needs to be pre-defined in the key server).
Impact for existing customers: Automatically activated -- requires configuration.
A new field: "purpose of travel" has been added in the registration card. If activated, the user can configure a specific package code that will affect the city tax of the guest.
If activated, the guest will be asked to choose between leisure and business when checking in at the kiosk.

> PMS
PMS API-EXTENDED EXTERNAL REFERENCE : Extended the logic of external reference numbers to include the ExternalSystemNumberList from the fetch booking response (when it exists).
MEWS: The sale payment method has been added to the Mews implementation
Impact for existing customers: No immediate impact - requires configuration to activate.
RMS: Enabled search by external number in PMS.
PROTEL: Enabled search by external number in PMS.
INFOR: Enabled search by external number in PMS.
OWS: Enable/disable the usage of O2G header for Pull function. This can allow us to retrieve the external reference number at Pull.
Supported nationality codes: Use a list of predefined nationalities values list that can be sent to the PMS in order to prevent the PMS from failing the entire update call because of an unsupported nationality code.
